LinkedIn Pages
LinkedIn is the world's largest professional network. They have over 1 billion users in over 200 countries worldwide. LinkedIn is one of the best platforms for professionals to stay connected and informed, apply for jobs, advance their careers and interact with businesses, recruiters, colleagues and customers worldwide. LinkedIn has many different components on their platform, including pages.
One of the main pages that you can make on LinkedIn is a Company Page. A LinkedIn Company Page is the first place users will go to learn about and interact with a certain company. Creating a company page is a great way to build brand awareness, engage with employees and customers, foster engagement and attract and interact with a target audience. It is also a great place for people to gain insight into what life is like inside a certain company and to search for and apply for jobs posted directly to their LinkedIn Company Page. LinkedIn also provides detailed analytics for company pages, including follower demographics and sources, reach and engagement metrics for posts, page traffic and sources, page views, unique visitors, page clicks, job views and number of job applications.
Another page you can create is a LinkedIn Showcase Page, which is an extension of LinkedIn Company Pages. These allow brands to create pages to promote specific business lines, products, or company initiatives. Some large companies might be made up of multiple business units with different target audiences, so brands can create showcase pages for each of these units. That way, each unit can target their specific audience with distinct messaging instead of posting all company-related content on a single company page to a broad audience. For example, Amazon has 12 LinkedIn Showcase pages where each page features content related to that particular section of Amazon's company.
In addition to showcase pages, companies can also create a LinkedIn Career Page. A career page is embedded within a company page and it allows each company to highlight job opportunities to potential candidates. Career pages use intelligent targeting to help companies attract top talent by showing LinkedIn users personalized job recommendations based on the user's interests, location and current job titles. Career pages also provide potential candidates with authentic views into a company's culture through photos, videos and custom messaging on the page. Users can also connect with current employees who can share insight about what it's like to work at the company.
