Football and Soccer and Concerts, Oh My!
This weekend was definitely one for the books. On Sunday, I went to my second concert in a month, which was also my second concert ever. My friends and I went to see Pitbull at the Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana. T-Pain opened for him, so between the two it was a very thrilling, high-energy night! I love all of Pitbull's songs, but I think if I had to choose my favorite one to hear live, I would choose Fireball.
I was also able to go home on Friday night to see my little brother, Jacob's first football game of the season. He is a senior in high school this year, so I want to try to get home to see more of his games than I did last year. The game started off rough, but they were able to come from behind and get the win! He is the quarterback this year and every single touchdown we scored was a passing or rushing touchdown by him. He is hoping to go on to play football in college, so I'm hoping the rest of his year goes as well as Friday night!
On Saturday, I went to the Fulton County Fair, which is the county over from my hometown. Their fair has the best milkshakes I've ever had, so I was happy I was able to get one again! I also had a sausage sandwich from a local vendor and fries that were both good as well. I saw some people that I knew from my church there, so I was able to catch up with them and tell them how my first week of classes went.
Then, on Sunday afternoon before I went to the concert, I worked the men's and women's soccer games. My freshman and sophomore years I filmed the games for the livestream, but this year I am doing the live stats during the game. I also did live stats for softball last semester, and it involves more than just keeping the stats during the games. I also have to make the game programs before the game and write the game recap after the games are over. It is a pretty substantial time commitment, and it will be more difficult this semester because my classes have a bigger workload, but I really enjoy doing it.
Monday I was able to sleep in and get some homework done, but a majority of my day was spent relaxing before Week 2 of classes started. My long weekend was fun, but now it's back to reality.

Hey! At least your concert didn't get rained out lol! I would love to see Pitbull in concert, I bet it truly was a blast! And hey, my little brother is Jacob and in football as well! Although he's only 10, so it's more funny than anything watching him run around the field with a helmet that makes him look like a bobble head.
